A quick post before new year to show you some of the things I made the last days.
I have been drooling over some kawaii slippers for a long time,so two days ago I drew my own pattern and made it sort of on the go.Sometimes I had no idea what I was doing, but at the end I am really pleased with the outcome. And after uploading a picture to Facebook I have 3 orders for slippers!woohoo!Ok,enough talk, here is the picture.
Also,I managed to finish my purple bag that I started working on sewing class.I think it's a bit too girly for me,but I'll make myself wear it. :)
And I made a little present for my friend for Christmas, but I didn't show it until now in fear she could see it. :) It's a big pendant from polymer clay and a pink leopard cuff from felt.I sewed up a little burlap sack to hold them in and painted her name with acrylic paint on it.I'm glad she likes it.
And a not so good closer look of the pendant.
I wish you all an awesome new years eve and see you all next year! :)

Soft Christmas Trees
I saw these really cute stuffed Christmas Trees at the fair, but they where too expensive so I looked around for a pattern.I found this great tutorial at The Pursuit Of Happiness and started making them right away.I used a rounder pattern and my dad made little "legs" from wood for them so they stand straight. They are easier then I taught and really quick to make.
Even more quicker with a little help. :)
I made one for my mother, one for my mother in law and two for us.
Also yesterday we baked some awesome gingerbread cookies with Joci.I love the smell of cookies! :)
Hope everyone is having a great Christmas! :)

Christmas Fair
Home from the fair with a ton of pictures. :)
Gingerbread cookie stand.
Wooden toys stand.
Wet felted jewelery, hats and foot wear.
Pottery stand.
Christmas decorations,wreaths and candles.
And our over stuffed, colorful jewelery stand.
There was also a part of the fair displaying all the traditional Hungarian items and crafts to save them from falling in to oblivion.
These spined branches used to be the Christmas trees of the poor and they where decorated with pop corn and monkey-bread.
These betlehems are made from cornhusk.I'm not religious, but I taught they where really pretty.
Baskets made from cornhusk.
Post cards made from straw.(a really annoing and long process to make one)
And this amazing train and tree made from gingerbread cookies made by a mother and daughter.
Hope you enjoyed the pictures. Now back to my stuffed Christmas Trees.

Price Card Tutorial
I noticed that at craft fairs some people find it hard to ask for the price of the items and tend to leave them instead of buying.Since I'm the same and don't like to ask for the price I came up with these little price cards to make it easier and clearer.
You will need:
-scissors
-cardboard
-stick-on labels
Step 1.
Cut a rectangle from the cardboard and fold it in half.
Step 2.
Fold up about two inches from one bottom.
Step 3.
Turn it over and add a stick-on label.
Now you can write the price of the item on it and place it on your table.(I left out this step, because I'm sharing my table with my friend,so we will agree on the price there)
Was this easy or what? :) And it will make things so much easier for you and your customers too. :)

I just wanted to share my shiny new bracelet display.I found this awesome idea of making one from paper rolls at Blah to Tada. She covers the rolls with fabric, but I just made some glue from flour and water, covered it with newspaper and painted two layers of acrylic paint.
Now with the bracelets:
Also I just found out that I'm going to teach some kids on making some paper and fabric flowers at the fair. :)
Now just to post two tutorials and I'm off to pack!:)
See you all in 1O days! :)

Some more finished stuff
Well,a week ago my lap top died and took all my pictures and tutorials with him to the grave.I was being all positive, thinking it can be fixed, but as I found out yesterday it can't.I had pictures of finished creations, already sent out swap items and pictures of 3 finished tutorials on there. (one for craft fair displays,a dinosaur plush tutorial and a bag tutorial) >_<
But here are a few snaps of some of the stuff I finished this weekend.
Ill get some pics of the crochet and felted pouches for next time and Ill try to get them at daylight.I'm almost finished with everything,I only need to decorate the bags I made and to make some price tags when I get home. And here is a pic of Móric and Lilly all snuggled up.
