Joci woke me up with a huge happy birthday kiss before leaving to work,so it was a good start. :)
We went for some drinks and shopping with my friend,my mom surprised me with a cake,I got a new muffin pan from granny and a cool backpack and necklace from Joci. And he never forgets the big bar of chocolate. :)
After that we went for drinks to the local bar with some friends. It was a happy day.
I made a large lolli pop from pendant and an ice cream brooch from clay.

Kitty challenge, great news, muffins, banana shake and a tent in the back yard

Wow,today was full of surprises...
A few months ago, just when I brought Móric home, our adopted mommy kitty Micike had 3 baby kittens.Being a wild cat herself, she immediately took the kittens and hid them in the bushes on the end of our garden.Since then I tried to catch them, without any success.
Today the neighbor brought them over.WOW,are they wild cats!

The third one is missing from the picture, she was hiding in the corner.
We are keeping them in a spare room right now,I'm going to be with them every day a couple hours so they get used to people. The black one already took food from my hands, but the other two are going to be a challenge.
Im baby-talking to them so they get used to my voice. :)

I unpacked our tent to clean it and left it all day in the back yard.

Home again

The festival and camp was on mountain Rtanj.
It was great to wake up in the morning to see this beautiful view from our tent.

The village is really tiny. There are only approximately 1OO people living there (who where all a bit shocked to see us colorful and for them strange people barging in their peaceful and quiet villagelet.
The only store was far away from our camp,so we needed to take a long walk every day to get breakfast and the stuff we need. All the climbing up and down was just the thing my legs needed. :)

Even my fear of dogs faded after two days and I caught myself wishing if only I could bring this cute little puppy home with me.Unfortunately she had puppies herself,so I had to leave her there. :(

The concert was a success,I had loads of fun listening to the other bands too.

So we arrived home yesterday around 6.It was a long and exhausting ride,we took a shower and fell a sleep in no time.Im thinking of crawling back to bead right now,Im so tired...

Now that I'm home I need to do some serious crafting for the swaps I'm currently participating in.
I need to make seven earrings for the Earring swap on Cut out and Keep.I need to finish my stuff for the Rockabilly swap.I only have some embroidery to do and Im ready to send out.
Also I'm hosting a Tiny swap on CO+K and we started a second round so I have to figure out seven tiny items to make.
But everything will have to wait until I get my beauty sleep... ^__^

Look what I made!

Last night I was packing for the festival and I was thinking of the long ride till we get there.Hours and hours in the car...So I figured I will take my crochet hook and yarn with me so I can do something useful to make time pass faster.
But then I realized that every time I take my crochet hook with me I end up loosing it.
I looked around me and spotted a glass eprouvette that I brought home when we where working in the hospital.
Look what it became:

I just started off with a magic ring, slipped it on the end of the eprouvette and kept crocheting around it until it was entirely covered.
Clever isn't it?
Lets just hope I wont loose the hole thing...

My new treasure

I love that I have crafty parents!
My mom found this book in one of her boxes and she gave it to me!Its from 1979,and this is the book that taught my mom to crochet and to make rugs. Now its my turn!

I know only basics and I work with that, but I really want to improve my crocheting skills. It looks like this book could do the thing. The only problem is,I learned to crochet on English from the internet,so now I need to figure out the therms on Serbian.

I already found a bunch of stuff I want to make.
Check out this awesome rug:

You make squares with the same pattern and you can change the design by moving the squares.I love it!
Also there's this crochet vest and bag pattern Ill be making for myself in the future:

Your breaking your promise!

Well yeah...When I started this blog I made a promise to myself that I will be writing almost every day.Hmm...maybe summer wasn`t the best time to make promises like this.
Oh well.
We had two concerts the last two weekends.
The first one wasn`t a big success...at least that`s the way I feel about it.But we had a great time and that`s what counts!
Image and video hosting by TinyPic
13 of us slept at my friends house. We where like sardines in a can.Filled up the entire room, there was no space to walk. :) We spent the morning watching cartoons until everyone woke up and we could drive home.
The second concert was better (I think) Or maybe I need to have more confidence? I will say it again: we had a great time and that`s what counts! :)

After the show we went to my best friends birthday party.
I completely forgot about the present,so the day before her birthday I was crocheting like crazy to finish this bag for her.

On the end it turned out awesome and she loved it too. :)
