I know (and made) bags like this before, but the fabric and the buttons where so perfect that Joci got it for me. Yes,he is awesome. I also got the tiny white elephant there too.<br />The bangle is from my very good friend from childhood. I think the colors are perfect.<br />The crochet earrings are from my best friend Anna. I am in love with it and wore them almost every day since she gave them to me.<br /><a href="http://s796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/?action=view&current=SDC18269-tile.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/SDC18269-tile.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br />Some more pictures of the details I love. The strap of the bag is amazing! It is three strips of fabric weaved together and sewed over with a machine so it would stay flat. I'm sure I will use this on my future bag projects, because it's simply brilliant.<br />The last picture is of the white elephant who joined the others.<br /><a href="http://s796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/?action=view&current=SDC18278.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/SDC18278.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br />There is a guy who makes pottery and showes up at almost every fair that I go. He makes these little elephants and paints them in many colors. I made a little tradition, that every time I see him selling somewhere,I get an elephant in different color.<br />And now something completly different!<br />My Tiny Lilly had her babies yesterday!!!! She is now the proud mommy of two little one day old kittens. :) I can't show you pictures yet,I don't want to disturb the little family. Tomorrow Mr.Móric is going to see the little ones for the first time. I hope they wsill get along well,we are keeping them seperated for safety for now.<br />The babies are perfect! One of them is light grey with white parts and the other one is dark grey and black. Kind of like a wild cat.<br />Off I go,I have lots of things planned for today. I want to sew two skirts and upcycle a dress,so wish me luck! <br /><a href="http://tinypic.com?ref=6sgiz6" target="_blank"><img src="http://i56.tinypic.com/6sgiz6.jpg" border="0" alt="Image and video hosting by TinyPic"></a>Violettahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06630069855940943518noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4536524538404824800.post-52319778670111798482011-07-23T12:50:00.003+02:002011-07-23T13:20:08.933+02:00Chaotic SummerI miss my blog. But that's what I get when I plan too much for one summer.<br />The chaos started when we left for a festival in the mountains (Joci's band had a gig there) We had a great time as always. It is a great place to go back to every year. Nature itself is worth the long ride.<br /><a href="http://s796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/?action=view&current=SDC18241.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/SDC18241.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br />When we got home I started work the next day. Exhausting, hard work on the fields. Since I need the money for camp and all the other trips I planned I worked a lot and didn't have any free time left. After working for two weeks I had a 4 day long vacation that ended by me getting even more tired.<br />We made 3O pairs of wet felted earrings with Anna and attempted to sell them at the Exit Festival for those 4 days. <br /><a href="http://s796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/?action=view&current=DSC_8028.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/DSC_8028.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br />Well lets just say it didn't go as well as we suspected. Festival people where more in to buying beer, hamburgers and plastic crap then handmade jewelry. We made some money, but I need a few more craft fairs until all the earrings are gone to a new home.<br /><a href="http://s796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/?action=view&current=DSCF0734.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/DSCF0734.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br />I'll get a better picture of the earrings.<br />After that I had my birthday party wich was fine except that my borther got hit by a car (luckily he's doing just fine, not even a scratch) So that ruined the day,but when my friends came over and we had a few drinks the day got better. :) (especially after I opened one of my presents and saw my new elephant)<br />After my birthday party I started working on the fields again,I got such a nice tan,it's really weird on me. :)<br />Today we are having a barbeque with some friends, since we missed out on a festival because of work. Then I have one more week of work wich will be totally worth it,since next weekend felting camp is starting!! :) I'm teaching the kids felting again, only this year we added one afternoon of basic crocheting and a few embroidery lessons too. This way the kids can crochet the straps for their felted bags and they can embroider the designs on there own. I can't wait. :)<br />I leave you with a picture of the 3 cuties at Joci's place. (We are expecting Tiny Lilly's babies any day now)<br /><a href="http://s796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/?action=view&current=SDC18259.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/SDC18259.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br />So,this was the story of my chaotic summer so far. And this was only one month! <br /><br />Hope everyone is having a great summer!<br /><a href="http://tinypic.com?ref=6sgiz6" target="_blank"><img src="http://i56.tinypic.com/6sgiz6.jpg" border="0" alt="Image and video hosting by TinyPic"></a>Violettahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06630069855940943518noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4536524538404824800.post-37829403072036040432011-06-15T19:47:00.002+02:002011-06-15T19:51:52.371+02:00Still no ideawhy, but I made a Tumblr. <a href="http://violetelephant.tumblr.com/">Check me out.</a><br /><a href="http://s796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/?action=view&current=anigif-1.gif" target="_blank"><img src="http://i796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/anigif-1.gif" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br /><br /><a href="http://tinypic.com?ref=6sgiz6" target="_blank"><img src="http://i56.tinypic.com/6sgiz6.jpg" border="0" alt="Image and video hosting by TinyPic"></a>Violettahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06630069855940943518noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4536524538404824800.post-29950010349251821442011-06-15T14:00:00.002+02:002011-06-15T14:26:09.698+02:00Wire Earrings TutorialThe other day I broke one of my favorite large hoop earrings and just because I hate throwing stuff out I figured a way to turn them in to a pair of new and even better earrings. <br />And I took pictures so I can show you! :)<br /><a href="http://s796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/?action=view&current=SDC17994.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/SDC17994.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br /><a href="http://s796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/?action=view&current=SDC17996.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/SDC17996.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br /><span style="font-weight:bold;">Things you will need:</span><br />-a pair of hoop earring or two wire bangles (if you don't have these at hand, you can always use some thick wire)<br />-wire cutters<br />-thin wire in colors of choice<br />-earring hooks<br /><a href="http://s796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/?action=view&current=SDC17967.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/SDC17967.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br />Let's get started!<br /><span style="font-weight:bold;">Step1</span><br />Bend the earrings (or wire) to the shape you want. I used a parfume bottle to get the shape. You can leave it the way it is too. :)<br /><a href="http://s796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/?action=view&current=SDC17969.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/SDC17969.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br /><span style="font-weight:bold;">Step2</span><br />Get your thin jewelry wire and wrap the earrings with it. You don't want to leave this step out, this will keep the thin wire from slipping around on your earrings.<br /><a href="http://s796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/?action=view&current=SDC17970.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/SDC17970.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br /><span style="font-weight:bold;">Step3</span><br />Make a loop for the earring hooks.<br /><a href="http://s796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/?action=view&current=SDC17971.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/SDC17971.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br /><span style="font-weight:bold;">Step4</span><br />Start wrapping the colored wire on the earrings. <br /><a href="http://s796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/?action=view&current=SDC17972.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/SDC17972.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br /><span style="font-weight:bold;">Step5</span><br />When you are done with one color,be sure to wrap the wire many times to secure it.<br /><a href="http://s796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/?action=view&current=SDC17973.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/SDC17973.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br /><span style="font-weight:bold;">Step6</span><br />Add colors as you go. I used light purple, purple and dark blue wire.<br /><a href="http://s796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/?action=view&current=SDC17976.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/SDC17976.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br /><span style="font-weight:bold;">Step7</span><br />Add the earring hooks to the loop you made on the beggining and you are done! :)<br /><a href="http://s796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/?action=view&current=SDC17993.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/SDC17993.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br />You made something awesome from something plain and boring.Enjoy!<br /><a href="http://s796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/?action=view&current=SDC17995.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/SDC17995.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br /><br /><a href="http://tinypic.com?ref=6sgiz6" target="_blank"><img src="http://i56.tinypic.com/6sgiz6.jpg" border="0" alt="Image and video hosting by TinyPic"></a>Violettahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06630069855940943518noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4536524538404824800.post-37604541403243490632011-06-07T15:46:00.003+02:002011-06-07T19:29:45.025+02:00Wool Dying at HomeThe other day we did some wool dying with Anna. We are going to make some wet felted earrings to sell on this years Exit Festival and since I only have natural sheep wool at home,we needed some colors.<br /><a href="http://s796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/?action=view&current=SDC17800.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/SDC17800.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br />We used simple fabric dye for coloring the wool. The trick is,you need to add a table spoon of salt to the water before adding the wool. We cooked every color for about 25 minutes and left the wool soaking in the jars for a whole night.<br /><a href="http://s796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/?action=view&current=SDC17801.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/SDC17801.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br /><a href="http://s796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/?action=view&current=SDC17802.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/SDC17802.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br />This is what the colors looked like after cooking.<br />Now,here is another trick I am going to tell you. After we left the wool soaking the hole night,we washed every color in cold water in wich we added a cup of vinegar. <br />The vinegar helps preserve the bright colors and they won't wash or fade out from our future projects.<br />After washing the wool with clear, cold water again I left them out to dry on the sun.<br /><a href="http://s796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/?action=view&current=SDC17828.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/SDC17828.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br /><a href="http://s796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/?action=view&current=SDC17827.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/SDC17827.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br />You always need your freshly dyed wool to dry completly before using it for any project.<br />We used up some older dyed wool to make a few tiny balls wich we will turn in to earrings later.<br /><a href="http://s796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/?action=view&current=SDC17829.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/SDC17829.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br />Here is a before and after picture of the wool.<br /><a href="http://s796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/?action=view&current=SDC17803.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/SDC17803.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br />I did some wet felting the other weekend, the result is two bags,a wallet and a cell phone pouch. After two weeks of not knowing where she is I started to loose hope and secretly said goodbye in my heart.<br />You can imagine how happy I was when she showed up at our door the other morning like nothing even happened. You can see on the pictures how much weight she lost, but don't worry I'm already on it to stuff that belly back to normal.<br />So as a welcome home gift I made her this cute bow collar.<br /><a href="http://s796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/?action=view&current=SDC17818.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/SDC17818.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br />1.measure around your pets neck (don't forget to make the size confortable)<br />2.cut out a strip of fabric (in my case red,so the collar would be extra girly for my Lilly)<br />3.sew the sides together and sew down the sides<br />4. -this is important- add a piece of elastic to the collar!<br />5.make a bow from the same fabric (there are tons of cute tutorials out there)<br />6.add a small bell to the bow<br />7.sew the bow on the collar and show it to your pet :)<br /><a href="http://s796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/?action=view&current=SDC17808.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/SDC17808.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br />I must say,my Lilly didn't even notice that I changed her collar. But thats because she is used to wearing one. :) Is she cute or what? she reminds me of a grey, skinny but cuter version of Hello Kitty. tee hee<br /><a href="http://s796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/?action=view&current=SDC17821.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/SDC17821.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br /><a href="http://tinypic.com?ref=6sgiz6" target="_blank"><img src="http://i56.tinypic.com/6sgiz6.jpg" border="0" alt="Image and video hosting by TinyPic"></a>Violettahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06630069855940943518noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4536524538404824800.post-76890183895788769192011-05-25T15:36:00.002+02:002011-05-25T16:02:18.252+02:00DIY Necklace DisplaysI plan to attend more craft fairs this summer,so I needed to update my displays. There are a lot of tutorials out there for boards, picture frame displays and jewelry trees, but I wanted something that makes the necklaces stand out. <br />So I found <a href="http://www.home-jewelry-business-success-tips.com/necklace-display.html">this tutorial</a> that is perfect for what I wanted. They have a pattern for it too. Here is my version:<br /><a href="http://s796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/?action=view&current=SDC17722.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/SDC17722.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br />Instead of using fabric I covered the cardboard displays with leftover wallpaper.<br />Since my bracelet and ring displays are black they will match nicely together.<br /><a href="http://s796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/?action=view&current=SDC17723.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/SDC17723.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br />Front wiew:<br /><a href="http://s796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/?action=view&current=SDC17725.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/SDC17725.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br />And here is how it looks from the back:<br /><a href="http://s796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/?action=view&current=SDC17726.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/SDC17726.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br />It was pretty easy and quick to make, I was done with 2 displays in 2O minutes.<br />Now I just need to cover my earring board with some black fabric and dye some white tablecloths black or purple and I am ready.<br /><a href="http://tinypic.com?ref=6sgiz6" target="_blank"><img src="http://i56.tinypic.com/6sgiz6.jpg" border="0" alt="Image and video hosting by TinyPic"></a>Violettahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06630069855940943518noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4536524538404824800.post-68567464772148184642011-05-25T14:56:00.002+02:002011-05-25T15:30:25.675+02:00Where am I?I'v been spending so much time on other peoples blogs that I forgot I had one myself...<br />Plus I started working so that's not helping either.<br />However I have plenty of new stuff to show! First of all,I remembered I started an embroidery before Valentines Day (!) and completly forgot about the poor thing. I found it in a paper bag waiting to get finished and sewn in to a pillow case.<br /><a href="http://s796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/?action=view&current=SDC17693.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/SDC17693.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br />Also, my mother found me the cutest toy elephant ever! She was out on the fields working and saw him in a pile of dirt. After I gave the sad fellow a bath he joined the rest of the guys on my shelf and I can see he is very happy to be home. :) <br />I always believed elephants find me.<br /><a href="http://s796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/?action=view&current=SDC17696.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/SDC17696.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br /><a href="http://s796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/?action=view&current=SDC17695.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/SDC17695.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br />Now on to the clay stuff,I made this pendant for Anna as an Easter present.<br /><a href="http://s796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/?action=view&current=SDC17700.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/SDC17700.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br />Lately,as people started noticing my jewelry, I got some odd orders. A pair of doberman earrings wich I didn't make yet and a bracelet with a jumping frog pendant.<br /><a href="http://s796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/?action=view&current=SDC17715-tile.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/SDC17715-tile.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br />The girl who ordered it loved the end result so that makes me even more happy and proud. :)<br />I figured out a new way to make bracelets with hammered wire and polymer clay beads.<br /><a href="http://s796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/?action=view&current=SDC17663.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/SDC17663.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br /><a href="http://s796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/?action=view&current=SDC17664.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/SDC17664.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br />I made only two to see how they sell first.<br />Also,here is a new method I came up with to make interesting beads and pendants.<br /><a href="http://s796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/?action=view&current=SDC17654-horz.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/SDC17654-horz.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br /><a href="http://s796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/?action=view&current=SDC17653.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/SDC17653.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br />I'm planning to make a tutorial on it later on. It's made with vintage buttons, polymer clay and acrylic paint. I'm going to make new pieces for an upcomming craft fair,so check back for the tutorial. :)<br />Phew...I need to blog more frequently, things add up this way.<br /><a href="http://tinypic.com?ref=6sgiz6" target="_blank"><img src="http://i56.tinypic.com/6sgiz6.jpg" border="0" alt="Image and video hosting by TinyPic"></a>Violettahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06630069855940943518noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4536524538404824800.post-53045091977063016742011-05-04T15:28:00.003+02:002011-05-04T15:59:05.937+02:00Summer Clutch PatternSmall, elegant clutches are not my thing,so I made up this pattern for when I need a small bag. But I'm sure that if you use a different fabric and maybe add some bling to it this pattern could look elegant too. Or you could just mae one and use it for a make up bag or something. <br />The original idea was a burlap clutch. I used the part of the coffe sack where the green paint was printed.<br /><a href="http://s796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/?action=view&current=SDC17480.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/SDC17480.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br />I added a strawberry pin made from polymer clay that I got from my friend.<br /><a href="http://s796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/?action=view&current=SDC17481.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/SDC17481.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br />I really liked the way the first one turned out,so I made one from light jeans and added some purple elephant ribbon I got from Melissa.<br /><a href="http://s796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/?action=view&current=SDC17483.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/SDC17483.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br />I made a handle for this one from a thin stripe of fabric so I could carry it around more easily. (plus it is way more easier to hit someone with a bag that has a handle) :)<br /><a href="http://s796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/?action=view&current=SDC17484.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/SDC17484.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br />Before I forget, here is the simple pattern for the clutch.<br /><a href="http://s796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/?action=view&current=SDC17479.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/SDC17479.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br />Cut two pieces from each, plus the lining but you know how this goes. :) If not, just ask me in the comments and I will wright up a more detailed tutorial for it.<br />Now here is something really cute I wanted to share! a huge pile of baby spiders! eeeek!<br /><a href="http://s796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/?action=view&current=SDC17470.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/SDC17470.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br />I was heading out for the store today and spotted this yellow ball next to our mail box. I just tie them in a big bun and let them decide what they want. :) Most of the time I sleep with the bun, wake up in the morning and that's the hairdo for the day.<br />So...when summer comes I get all motivated and try out different stuff with them and these hairtsyles are just amazing. I already tried out the braided style.<br /><br />My dread journey in a few words:<br /><br />I ended up with dreads 3 years ago when I got one made ba a friend. And that single little lock lead to the hole head! I needed almost a hole year until I finished my entire head. (I made them myself with a crochet hook)<br /><a href="http://s796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/?action=view&current=SDC17371.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i796.photobucket.com/albums/yy250/violettarakic/SDC17371.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br />Then a year ago,I decided I wanted some loose hair,so I outcombed 15 dreadlocks in the front. Beside it beeing painful as hell it was a really bad idea and after a few months I realized how much I miss having a hole head full of them.<br />So now I am growing them back!
