Work in progress

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
So for the last few days I have been knitting like crazy. But then I realized I didn't buy enough if the fuzzy yarn and the store is out of it,so I had to insert some plain black yarn in the middle of my cowl.
The Móric is addicted to my knitting needles.I can't knit when he is in the room,he attacks the needles every time I try.So before knitting I have to make sure the room is kitty free. :)

Im hoping I can finish it by the end of the week.My head is full of new projects to do.I always wanted to learn how to crochet a net.I hate working with patterns,so I turned for help to my lovely Cut Out and Keep friends.Trish showed me this video and after watching it only two times I was already making my own net! :)

Now I can't wait to start on my scarfs, hats and bags. :)

Have a happy weekend everyone!

A long forgotten project...

Yesterday I was cleaning my room and I found this lonely fellow!

The poor thing was sitting in my basket of yarn waiting to be finished for more then a year. When I found it I remembered I wanted to knit my first ever neck cowl with button closure.
I really love the look and texture of the yarn and fall is right around the corner,so now I'm determined to finish it this week.

What's In The Fridge Pie

I came up with this salty pie recipe a few weeks ago.I felt like baking so i opened the fridge, chopped up what I found and threw this yummy thing together.Since then I made it a few times and tried it with different things-you can't do anything wrong,it will always be delicious.
The recipe is so simple even beginners can give it a go.

Things you will need:
-6 eggs
-one cup of yogurt
-one cup of vegetable oil
-two cups of plain flour (you can change this to any flour)
-baking powder
-what ever you have in the fridge (leftover ham, green pepper, tomatoes, vienna sausage,cheese,courgette,mushrooms...anything you can find)

***the size of the cup really does not matter, you can use any cup you want, the important thing is that you use the same cup for measuring every ingredient.

Elephant Gifts

I love getting elephant gifts and recently I got a few from my mom and friends.
I got this cute elephant pouch from as a late birthday present from my friend.

Her mom made it for me and I use it as my cellphone pouch.
Also when I started to work my mom surprised me with this weird (but cute) elephant ashtray.

Whats weird about it?Well the Papa Elephant with cartoon eyes is wearing a blue top hat and he is holding his realistic baby son.The baby elephant has no hat on,no cartoon eyes,nothing...But I love it,its big so I dont have to worry about spilling ashes all over my room and it has elephants on it. :)

My friend loves penguins,so I made her a cute little penguin plush, you can find my TUTORIAL HERE.In exchange she made me the cutest pillow case ever!

The little elephants are hand painted.

I plan to cover my oh-so-naked bed with lots and lots of elephant pillows.I have a bunch of plain brown pillows that I plan to add stenciled elephants. Also I have a backpack I dont wear that Im going to turn in to pillows.

My best friend makes awesome image transfers on to polymer clay.I picked out two pictures and she made them in to brooches.

I love the way they tuned out!Now Im going to make her some of my crochet bracelets. She loved them since the first time I made one.

It makes me so happy to get elephants from people I love.
